CJ Roberto Concepcion Legal Aid Clinic

The CJ Roberto Concepcion Legal Aid Clinic [UST] (CJRC-LAC) was set-up as an outreach program in order to extend free legal assistance assistance to indigents and those belonging to the marginalized sector in our society. By providing legal assistance for free, the title adage that “those who have less in life should have more in law” is transformed into a reality.

Despite the change in the organizational set-up, the CJRC-LAC continues to attain its three-fold objective to provide:

  1. Free legal assistance not only inside but outside the Thomasian Community;
  2. Actual legal work/experiences to the graduating students of the Faculty of Civil Law through internship in regular courts, various quasi-judicial or administrative agencies performing quasi-judicial functions ; and
  3. A center for legal research to students and professors of the Faculty of Civil Law.
